Bath & Body products

Body Talc / Powder
8oz Arrowroot Powder
4oz Baking Soda
15 drops EO or FO of your choice
Mix above ingredients completely.  Note: EO's can be single or a blend.
Tips: For babies and young children, use cornstarch only and use only about 1/4 the amount of oils.

Lip Balm
1/2 cup ( 4oz ) Carrier Oil
1oz Bees Wax
1tbsp Honey or Vitamin E
5 drops EO of choice
Combine Carrier oil and bees wax.  Warm to melt wax.  Stir in honey or Vitamin E ( capsuled can be broken if needed ).  Add Eo and mix well.  Pour into balm tubes or small jars to harden.  Note: EO's can be single or a blend.
Tips: Spoon a small amount onto a plate and let cool to test for consistency your looking for.  If too hard add more carrier oil, if too soft add more bees wax.

Bath Salts
1 cup bath salts ( rock, sea or mineral )
1 to 3 drops soap dye ( food coloring can be used )
20 drops EO or FO
1tsp Glycerine if desired
Mix salts & dye in bowl or zip lock bag.  Add oils and mix till absorbed. If desired, add glycerine to sparkle things up and to help moisturize skin.  Note: EO's can be single or a blend.
Tips: Keep in tightly sealed container so moisture cant get in when not in use.

Scented Rocks
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
1/4tsp EO or FO
2/3 cup Boiling water
Food Coloring if desired
Mix dry ingredients together, then add oils and boilings water to mixture.  Coloring can be added at this point as well if you like.  Once well blended, form balls in desired shape and let dry.
Tips: to achieve maximum scent, place containers of rocks in sunny or warm locations.  To re-scent, just add a few drops of desired oil.

Natural Coloration Chart
Primarily for Soaps and Bath Product Making
Pink:  Pink Clay, Calamine, Crushed Rose Petals, Cranberry Juice.
Red:  Henna, Red Clay, Paprika, Beet Powder/Juice, Rose Hips Tea.
Red-Orange:  Red Henna, Saffron, Turmeric, Calendula, Iodine.
Orange:  Carrot  Oil/Juice, Beta Carotene, Orange Peel.
Yellow:  Chamomile, Bee Pollen, Turmeric,  Mustard.
Yellow-Orange: Saffron, Turmeric, Annatto, Comfrey.
Yellow:  Yellow Curry, Comfrey, Chamomile, Crushed Rose Petals.
Green:  Green Clay, Chives or Dill (for a grass smell), Chlorophyll, Hemp Oil, Caraway Oil.
Blue:  Blueberry Juice, Grape Juice, Crushed Pansy or Lavender Petals.
Blue-Violet:  Ultra Marine Violet, (a naturally occurring mineral.)
Lavender:  Lavender Petals, Grape Juice, Ground Rattan.
Purple: Alkanet Root, Ground Rattan.  
Brown:  Coffee Grinds, Cocoa Powder, Wheat Germ, Brown Clay.
Cream:  Oatmeal, Ground Almonds, Beeswax, Honey, Cinnamon Powder
Black:   Black Tea Leaves, Black Henna, Black Coffee.
White: Titanium Dioxide, (its all natural, just doesn't sound like it) Zinc.
Crushed rose petals and other floral petals can also be used across most of this color spectrum.  As when mixing any color, you can use a color wheel to achieve in-between colors.
